The use of genetically modified
organisms in food and feed
production has been a hotly
debated topic for many years.
Concerns about GMOs include the
impact of these organisms on
human and animal health, as well
as the effects of their impact on
the natural environment. On the
other hand, the use of GMOs
allows for increased yields,
increased nutritional value of
plants, and advances in medicine.
This article discusses the
advantages and controversies
associated with genetically
modified organisms.
